About the Item

This beautiful, colorful hand painted Majolica antique set was sculpted in Montigny sur Loing, France, circa 1870. Each ceramic vase including the matching jardiniere, is decorated with scrolled branch shape handles and features high relief floral and leaf motifs on both sides. The three pieces are in excellent condition with rich colors in the green, pink and soft blue palette over a black and grey background. The vases and planter would make a beautiful addition in a formal living room or set on top of a mantel. Jardinière: 12"W x 10"D x 7"H Vase: 8"W x 8"D x 7.5"H.
