Pair of Chinese Spinach Jade Beaker Vases on Stands, 19th Century

About the Item

Each of Archaistic gu beaker form, with the globular central bulb carved with confronting phoenixes forming Archaistic taotie masks, with further borders of lappets and ruyi-heads at the pedestal foot and trumpet neck, further set with two registers of four projecting leonine masks securing loose rings just below the bulb and the rim, with separate spinach jade circular stands with lobed aprons and four bracket feet.
