Pair of Royal Crown Derby Cobalt Blue Vases, Dated 1913

About the Item

Cobalt blue and gold and panels painted by Gregory late 19th century. Gregory was described by Honey, the late curator of Ceramics at the Victoria and Albert Museum as the "foremost flower painter of his day". The jeweling is probably by Desire Leroy the ceramic artist from Sevres, Paris who did his best work at the Derby factory." Signed Gregory.
