Peruvian antique round earthenware/17th-19th century/Wabi-Sabi small vase
About the Item
I would like to introduce you to some very beautiful earthenware.
This is probably an earthenware vessel made in Peru, South America.
In Peru, there are many earthenware with many round curves, and many of them have polished and smooth surfaces.
There are many objects with complicated shapes, but there are also objects with simple and practical shapes like this excavated.
This one is black, but I think it originally had pale pink skin.
However, it has turned black due to soot and charring.
There is a small chip on the tip, but other than that it is in good condition.
It is also unglazed earthenware.
Therefore, if you pour water into this jar, it will leak from the bottom, so if you want to display flowers, fill another container with water and put it inside that jar.
Please use it carefully because it is light and thin.
It is a very beautiful curved vase.

- Japanese Antique 13th Century Small Pottery Vase / Wabi Sabi Flower VaseLocated in Sammu-shi, ChibaSince ancient times, people have created necessary tools from familiar materials, passed them on, and nurtured a lifestyle culture in order to survive in the severe struggle against nature. In today's world, where cheap and disposable products are encouraged, the act of repeatedly modifying and re-creating the things around us opens up a new world.
