Petite Round Blue Murano Style Art Glass Hobnail Budding Vase Hobbs
About the Item
Beautiful blue round Murano style glass budded vase with raised hobnail bubbles. The raised bubbles are reminiscent of flowers that are on the verge of blooming. At the top, the edges are scalloped and ruffled and protrude outward in a wavy fashion. The base is a deep blue or turquoise with small footing. The color seems to have an ombré look as it moves from darker at the base to a lighter blue and white toward the neck of the vase. No markings or signature at bottom.
How We Would Style It:
This is a great piece for holding a single flower, or small bouquet. For a more traditional look, we recommend adding white peonies or magnolias from the garden. For a more modern room, we’d love to see a bright pop of color to contrast the bright blue. Perhaps a deep red peony or ranunculus in a contrasting hue.
