Scandinavian Modern Black and Olive Glazed Ceramic Vase Nittsjö Keramik, 1960s

About the Item

This exquisite mid-century modern black and olive glazed ceramic vase from the 1960s is a fine example of Nittsjö Keramik craftsmanship, originating from the picturesque county of Dalarna in Sweden. The vase is adorned with a striped, shiny black, and olive green glaze, giving it a striking appearance. The vase features a well-defined foot ring that leads into a half-globe shape, beautifully interrupted by a concave design in the middle. The mouth rim aligns perfectly with the foot ring, completing the vase's elegant silhouette. This piece is a testament to the skilled artisans of Nittsjö Keramik, renowned for their distinctive ceramic work.
