About the Item
A superb quality Sowerby turquoise green, blue and white marbled slag glass vase molded with three chained swans with lion paws dating from around 1880. The vase is crisply molded with excellent detail in muted and bold colors. Often referred to as the 'Gryphon Vase' unmarked versions are sometimes attributed to Edward Moore however the detail and quality are more in common with Sowerby and marked versions we have handled in the past.
