About the Item

A Delft ceramic ashtray from Holland. Hand-painted in cobalt blue with the ship the Mayflower in the center. The Mayflower was an English sailing ship that transported a group of English families, known as the Pilgrims, from England to the New World in 1620. The sides are painted with a traditional Delft floral motif, and underneath is written “Blue Delfts, Hand painted, Made in Holland”.
