Original 10 pound keg for swift's arsenate of lead. Ends wrapped in vine. Paper remnants. "63% lead arsenate." Stamped "Poison". Marked Swift's Dry Arsenate of Lead. Hudson Bay piece ex. Fur Trade Museum Chadron, NB. Manufactured only by the Maramac Co., Boston, US. Rare fur trade piece.
