Edwardian Silver Plate-Mounted Wood Three-Bottle Tantalus

About

Edwardian, silver plate-mounted, three bottle Tantalus, England, circa 1905. Measures: 16 inches long x 6 1/2 inches deep x 13 1/2 inches high (to top of handle). Has key and working lock. When lock is in open position, handles swings forward and backward to release the bottles; when lock is in closed position, the handle locks in place and bottles cannot be removed. Bottles are in excellent condition. Very minor wear to silver plate on high points of handle commensurate with age and use. The wood Tantalus case is also in excellent condition.
