Exclusive Set of 6 Murano Tumblers, Burnt Orange Zanfirico over White, Cenedese

About the Item

Special and exclusive full set of 6 Murano tumblers, Made and Signed by Cenedese. The pattern of these glasses is a special technique used also by Venini at the time and goes under the name of Tartan, the criss-crossed fabric used on quilts. Here Amelio Cenedese used a special cane called Zanfirico. It's made by twisting and crossing small beads of glass and then pulling the glass forming a cane, following the Murrina technique. The result is a net of color inside a glass cane. The color used is burnt orange (burnt orange over white smalto). The Warp horizontal was first added to the glass with a spiralized bead in orange over smalto white. Then Weft vertical was attained by rolling it over the Zanfirico canes laid and evenly spaced. What a masterpiece of techniques!... and such a great color combination. Features: -Special and exclusive full set of 6 Murano tumblers made by Cenedese -Tartan pattern created using the Zanfirico technique, which involves twisting and crossing small beads of glass -Warp horizontal added with a spiralized bead in orange over smalto white -Weft vertical attained by rolling it over the Zanfirico canes laid and evenly spaced Benefits: -Own a unique and exclusive set of Murano glass tumblers -Enjoy the beauty and craftsmanship of the Tartan pattern -Impress your guests with the stunning color combination -Add a touch of elegance to your home with these masterpiece glasses Overall, these Murano tumblers are a must-have for any collector or lover of fine glassware.
