About the Item

Wonderful new (never used) ice bucket in the shape of an orange plastic ball from the middle of the last century. This fantastic object was designed in Recanati, Italy, by Guzzini in the 1970s. This fantastic piece is ball-shaped and has a very clever design: when open the top half can be removed, while when closed the top has a small concave element that can be used to hold the handle and carry the bucket. ice. An elegant and refined ice bucket that will be the focal point of your table. The piece has the original manufacturer's label, the plastic bag and the original box. A unique piece Born in Recanati, Marche in 1863, Enrico Guzzini, was a man with an open mind who drew upon his life experiences and re-launched an ancient craft, producing elegant ox horn items. This business thrived and developed and subsequently, circa 1938, another generation of Guzzini started a small revolution by manufacturing household items using Plexiglas. From that time, the company's history has been characterized by a series of decisively innovatory milestones. With the introduction of moulded acrylics at the beginning of the 1960s, Raimondo Guzzini s contemporary intuition sought to give the company a more open approach to business by importing into the Marche region the creative concepts of some of the best minds in design, starting with Luigi Massoni. This was followed by the development of the bicolor project in the 1980s, then the leap to gas-assisted injection in the 1990s, to current research on new plastic materials and their infinite potential, usefully combining them with futuristic acrylics or more classical traditional materials, such as porcelain, glass, steel and wood. After almost a century, the main impetus behind this development continues to come from a team that share the same passion for innovation, as well as the same surname: Guzzini.
