About the Item

Rare and elegant serving or decorative tray from the 1960s, made of Wengé wood and black Formica. Designed by Henning Seidelin in the late 1950s or early 1960s, it was produced by Voss in Denmark during that period. Very clean lines and minimalist aesthetic, typical of the scandinavian Mid-Century objects. Henning Seidelin (1904–1987) was a Danish artist and designer who initially gained recognition as a sculptor, particularly for his realistic porcelain figures. He later transitioned to industrial design, creating a diverse range of products including kitchen utensils, furniture, and stoves. Seidelin is especially renowned for his cutlery sets designed for the Swedish brand Gense. Very nice state.
