A sterling silver and glass wine bottle coaster by Frank M. Whiting Co., circa early 20th century, Massachusetts, USA. Piece is sterling silver and glass. Sterling silver has a tiny bead design around and glass has star design on base. A great piece for entertaining on a dining table or bar, or alternatively, on a vanity, desk, etc., as a modern day vide-poche catchall for jewelry or other small items/trinkets/coin change, etc. Piece is marked on side/rim 'Frank M.
