About the Item
A gorgeous set of vintage Culver roly poly hi ball glasses. This design, known as Canella, was first listed in Culver's 1967 catalog. Characterized by a cane design, much like a cane bottom chair. There is a slightly raised texture to the design, which is in 22kt gold. This is a set of 6 roly poly hi ball glasses (11oz). All are in very nice condition, with no loss to the gold. There are no chips or cracks noted. A great set, perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to any bar set up.
For the collector, the Canella design was available in this size, along with a 7 pc. martini set, a hi ball caddy set, a cooler set, whiskey glasses and the coveted Barrette set ( sort of a ferris wheel shaped caddy set). Culver is famous for the use of 22kt gold in their designs, which were then applied and fired onto the glassware in a process which is still a secret to this day.
