Blue, White Porcelain Gilt Lotus Flower Jingdezhen Serving Bowls, Teacups
About the Item
This is a special collection of blue and white rice grain porcelain serving bowls and Chinese style teacups. They are beautiful in red, blue and white translucent rice grain pattern with the lotus flower motif. The items are assembled and the teacups are older than the 1970s and 1960s bowls with an antique Chinese mark. The larger pieces are marked in English "Made in China."
One of the bowls has elephant handles and is the largest at We are pleased to present a Chinese porcelain serving bowl in a lotus pattern in the center with translucent glaze over the burnt-out rice. Around the translucent rice grains are red and blue patterns and the gilt gold decoration on the rim and woven through the main background. There are no apparent defects such as chips or cracks.
Assembled Pieces:
The largest bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and is 3 inches tall.
Three large bowls measure 9.125 inches in diameter and 3 inches high
Two smaller soup or smaller serving bowls measure 8.125 inches in diameter and 3 inches high.
Two small soup or rice bowls that measure 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall.
There are four small salad/dessert plates that measure 8 inches wide.
There are 12 small tea cups that bear an older mark and some are more recent..
