Mid-Century Modern Large Iced Glass Jar With Lid in the Shape of a Tree Trunk

About the Item

This mid-century modern iced glass jar with lid is probably of Finnish origin. It has the natural shape of a tree trunk and is probably meant to be a bowl for punch. The recess in the heavy lid seems to be intended for a pouring spoon. The whimsical shapes of the iced glass come across even more pretty when the bowl is filled.
