An exquisite and most elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu mirrored centerpiece plateau. This stunning centerpiece is raised by fine foliate feet below lovely swaging beaded garlands with tassels. A delicate beaded band extends along the border of the centerpiece below a most decorative pierced wrap around baluster shaped gallery framing the mirror plate.

The oval centerpiece in amber patinated bronze, ormolu and onyx
rests on a rectangular flanged bronze base topped with an onyx slab. Charming cherubs, draped in flowing garments, grace each side, kneeling on onyx bases with floral gilt reserves, and holding the oblong-shaped patinated bronze bowl. Intricate foliate designs and a central cameo of a young woman adorn the bowl, complemented by a reticulated flanged top band and a smooth finished interior.
