About the Item
Rectangular centerpiece in 925 sterling silver, entirely handmade.
The piece was crafted from a rough rectangular sheet of 925 silver. The center was hammered out to create an oval shape.
It was then hand-hammered. The corners were rounded, making the object more elegant and harmonious.
The four corners are embossed with four types of fruit: strawberries, grapes, pomegranates, and apricots.
Between the fruits, a small hammering or knurling was applied to highlight the main subject.
The centerpiece is suitable as a fruit bowl or can be left plain, allowing it to be placed in any setting in all its proportions and elegance.
Made in Florence towards the end of the 20th century in the Florentine workshop Piero Scaffei (1948 - 2019) for ARVAL ARGENTI VALENZA.
The artisan workshop closed its business on December 21, 2019
