Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu & Baccarat Crystal Centerpieces

A sensational and very large scale pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu and Baccarat Crystal centerpieces. Each stunning centerpiece is raised by a triangular base with concave sides, which supports richly chased acanthus leaves below a central spiral fluted column. The central column is surrounded by scrolled and beaded supports decorated by additional acanthus leaves and elegant open wing love birds. The birds are standing on large foliate scrolls which are joined by swaging floral garlands. The top of the central Ormolu fut are three bows with twisted hanging ropes ending with tassels.
