Prata Wolff Silver Plate Platter Tray Centerpiece with Lucite Horn Handles

About the Item

Step into the world of timeless sophistication with this exquisite serving tray, a true masterpiece designed by silversmith Prata Wolff in the 1980s. A striking example of modernist artistry, this substantial ovoid silver-plated platter radiates elegance and craftsmanship. The ornately carved frosted Lucite handles, shaped like graceful horns, add a sculptural and tactile intrigue, seamlessly blending form and function. Created by a prestigious German-origin company in Brazil, this tray carries the distinguished legacy of Wolff of Pforzheim, a renowned name in silversmithing. In 1929, Wolffmetal was established in Brazil to bring European refinement to the South American market, ensuring that exceptional quality and artistry continued to flourish. Still thriving today, the company maintains its tradition of excellence. More than just a serving piece, this stunning tray is a statement of prestige and enduring design. Plate Bowl Centerpiece Tableware Platter Decorated Wall Dish Majolica Painted
By deBlona
Located in Recanati, IT
This exclusive ceramic plate is handmade and hand-painted in Italy following the original Renaissance painting technique, unchanged over time, which we observe to the letter: it is decorated in majolica hand-painted in duotone of black and golden yellow, showing an elegant decorative motif of the Deruta tradition which is inspired by a tile found in a local church and suitably reworked in a modern key. Naturalistic decorations are depicted inside the large cable, arranged in specular and radial symmetry which branches off from a central hexagonal element and articulates around the circumference, forming elegant golden yellow raceme motifs that stand out against a black background. Our majolica plate can be used as a fancy centerpiece or it can be hung as a decorative wall dish...
