18th C Derby Porcelain Bowl in Pattern 110 Puce Mark, Ca 1790

About the Item

This is a fine quality Derby porcelain bowl in pattern number 110, fully marked with puce crown & batons and dating to 1790, George 111rd period. The puce coloured mark on this bowl indicates an early date and pieces with this puce colour are much harder to find, the more widely available colour being red , indicating a 19th Century piece. It is beautifully decorated in Derby's Pattern 110, with a gilt dentil rim and borders top and bottom of a cobalt blue line intertwined with sprays of gilt leaves and berries -all fully documented. The bowl is fully stamped to the base with Derby's puce hand painted crown mark for the period. It also carries a sticker denoting it was once part of the "Wilder Collection" Overall a beautiful 18th century Derby bowl.
