Ceramic Panel by Les Deux-Potiers

About the Item

The ceramic panel was handmade in Vallauris, France, by Les Deux-Potiers. This panel is made of one piece (pretty rare for the size). Les Deux-Potiers, a renowned French ceramic atelier, flourished from 1956 to 1970 under Michelle Bargoin-Serre's and Jacques Serre's creative partnership. Diverging from the vibrant palettes prevalent among their peers, Les Deux-Potiers preferred understated hues in crafting exquisite vases, bowls, tables, and assorted decorative art. Following their amicable parting in 1970, Jacques delved into the intricate world of enameled lava, while Michelle delved into sculptural endeavors, each leaving an indelible mark on the ceramic landscape.
