About the Item
Giovanni Bertoncello's glazed ceramic jug. Founded in 1956 in Schiavon, in the province of Vicenza by the partners Lini, Marco Pizzato and Giovanni Bertoncello, with the name of "LPB", it soon changed its name to "Bertoncello Ceramiche d'Arte" and the management remains exclusive to Giovanni Bertoncello, who, thanks to his artistic skills and entrepreneurial attitude, leads the company to obtain large successes both in Italy and on the foreign market.
The modern type of production consists of ceramics with organic shapes decorated with often monochrome glazes, in shades of ocher and beige, or decorated with drippings of colour.
The company remained active until 1999.
