About the Item
Very rare Goldscheider Art Deco ceramic figure of the 1920's:
Depiction of a standing Pierrot in a slightly bent position, his right hand in the pocket of his costume, which is put together in typical Harlequin fashion: monochrome rose-colored alternating with black-and-white checked fabric. Over his Pierrot hat, he wears a small black pointed hat that, when his head is tilted forward, points in the same direction as the pointing finger of his left hand.
The figure is based on a light gray, flat round base, the artist's signature 'Laurenzl' faintly on the top, left behind
