About the Item

Very Rare Goldscheider Vienna ceramic Figurine of the 1930s: Standing blond lady with cap and coat, showing great resemblance to Marlene Dietrich, with setter. On a cream-colored rectangular base with rounded corners and an uneven surface, shaded gray on the sides, artist's signature 'Dakon' on top by the dog's hind legs. Designed by Stephan DAKON (1904 - 1992), was one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties. This Model 6756 was created circa 1933.
