About the Item
Young revue dancer with pageboy hairstyle, dressed in one-piece, light green transparent costume with short pants and tight-fitting, long-sleeved top with large collar standing up backwards, balancing on tiptoe while holding a long
patterned veil at both ends in an elegant pose, raising her arms away from her body, the right turned downwards, the left angled upwards so that the veil falls to the ground in a large loop behind her, her upper body leaning
slightly to the left, she looks down with her head raised and her eyes almost closed.
The veil and collar are decorated in the finest Art Déco style, the black, stepped pedestal forms a quarter circle.
Designed by STEPHAN DAKON (1904 - 1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
Model 5570 was designed and made circa 1926.
