Italian Art Deco Vase

About

1930's Italian Art Deco vase in the manner of Gio Ponti for Richard Ginori. Gilt edged mouth and base, hash mark etched terra cotta clay with white glazed enamel floating images suggesting scenes of North Africa....probably Libya which was an Italian colony. Marked 6004 Italy. Maker unknown. It is 7-3/4 high" and 7" diameter.
