About the Item
A pair of nineteenth century French nodding Pagoda figures depicting an oriental man and woman in traditional dress.
The Pagoda figures are in porcelain and have an eighteenth century Meissen Marcolini mark but are actually a nineteenth replica made by the famous Samson factory.
The head moves backwards and forwards, hence the name “Nodders” and when the head moves, the tongue comes out and the hands move.
Adorned with Beautiful bright colours.
