About the Item
A delightful, Japanese licensed Pink Panther Collection handled ceramic bell with a Pink Panther handle distributed by Royal Orleans and dated 1981. The ceramic bell has a round bell-shaped base with a skirted rim and with the lower body decorated in pink over white. The bell has a hanging ball clanger to the inside and has a lovely loud ring tone. The handle is formed as a standing figure of the Pink Panther, his arms folded and his tail resting on his foot. The figural handle is hand painted in traditional pink with colored highlights and facial detail, and the bell while not marked comes with an original carded makers swing tag.
Provenance: From an extensive private collection of Pink Panther related memorabilia and acquired through the UK Art Market.
In good condition with light natural wear associated with age and use.
