The two were best known for their inspired designs and distinctive glazes. This relatively hefty bowl is signed on the underside and is in excellent vintage condition with no discernible flaws. Really quite riveting and sure to Stand out in any collection or setting. Dimensions: 5.5" high, 8.5" diameter. They are winners of the following awards: Gold Medal from the sixth Biennale internationale de céramique d'art, in Vallauris, France. Large handcrafted ceramic centerpiece dating back to the 1970s. Of certain Italian production but of unknown manufacture, this large plate shows a signature engraved on the base consisting of two intertwined letters "FS" that we have not been able to attribute to a ceramist or a manufacturer. the design of this centerpiece is essential, with an almost primitive shape that appears as a large bowl with low edges. The surface is rough and textured on the outside and very smooth with a crackle effect on the inside recalling Japanese Raku ceramics...
