A Sèvres style blue ground gilt metal mounted circular box and cover.
A Sèvres style blue ground gilt metal mounted circular box and cover, painted with a quarter-length portrait of 'A La Marquise de Sévigné/Paris', within a scrolling raised gilt foliate cartouche. The sides have raised gilt decorations. The interior is painted with bouquets of flowers.
The casket is signed and titled underneath.
