Six Plates & Fruit Basket Compote Centerpiece Early 20th Century, Max Roesler
About the Item
Six Early 20th century plates and a compote Centerpiece made by the Max Roesler company which produced fine stoneware in Rodach, Germany. It is an antique set of plates and a Fruit basket on stand from the Art Nouveau period in a braided look with openwork edge. All pieces have a gold-colored edge, which is slightly faded in some places, this is due to age and does not detract from the aesthetics of the pieces. Nice addition to your table or just to display. Please see detailed pictures for antique as found condition. Found at an estate sale in Nuremberg, Germany.
Each Plate is approx. 20" in diameter, the measurements in the dimensions section refers to the centerpiece fruit bowl.
