About the Item
A delightful vintage UAC Geoffrey Pink Panther figure hugging a lamppost, probably drunk, produced under license in Japan and dating from around 1981. These figures are licensed by the United Artists Corporation who produced and created the iconic Pink Panther cartoon character on which the figures are based. Created in ceramic the lightly made figure stands on a oval shaped base and leans against a lamppost with his arms around it. The figure is finely made and mounted on an oval base and hand painted in traditional pink with the lamppost in black on a grey painted base. The figure has printed copyright marks to the base.
Provenance: From an extensive private collection of Pink Panther related memorabilia and acquired through the UK Art Market.
In good condition with light natural wear associated with age and use.
