About the Item
A delightful collection of three vintage United Artists Pink Panther resting figures produced under license in Japan and dating from around 1982. The figures are licensed by the United Artists Corporation who produced and created the iconic Pink Panther cartoon character on which the figures are based. Created in ceramic the lightly made figures comprise of a seated figure resting on all fours; a seated cross-legged shelf figure and a lying figure with crossed arms and legs raised. Each is finely made and hand painted in traditional pink with colored highlights and all with United Artists copyright marks for 1982 and still retaining their original Japanese paper maker’s label. The figures vary in height and width and have included the largest dimensions.

Provenance: From an extensive private collection of Pink Panther related memorabilia and acquired through the UK Art Market.
In good condition with light natural wear associated with age and use.
