Measuring 20.25 inches wide by 10.5 inches high, this elongated oval plaque is hand-painted with a vibrant Breton folk dance scene, featuring villagers in traditional costume celebrating outdoors to the sound of musicians, while others look on. Above the scene, a finely detailed armorial crest inscribed with “AMAVIE” lends a noble touch, framed by intricate cobalt blue scrollwork on a cream ground with ochre edging.
