19th C English Hand Painted "Imari" Dessert Set-14 Pieces

About the Item

This lovely set of 12 hand painted plates in primary bold colors on a clean white ground which provide a dramatic contrast. The set also includes 2 matching shell shaped serving pieces which are both decorative and useful. These would create a handsome table setting with cobalt blue or green and would work with any "Imari" palette. These are hard paste porcelain and not too formal, without any gold embellishment so technically dishwasher safe. Gadroon borders frame these colorful plates and practical.
