About the Item
Handcrafted in Italy from the finest porcelain, this Apollo Bianco plate leads us into a magic world. Shades of blue lapis lazuli evoke the magic of oriental novellas. A fairytale is revealed by playful nuggets of gold, green red and blue drifting in the bright sky surrounded by a precious golden halo and a blue rim.

First introduced at Milan Design Week 2018, the Apollo Collection is named after a hall of the Borghese Gallery in Rome and evokes Renaissance and Baroque art eternal beauty underlined by the gold finishes.
Each Coralla Maiuri product is entirely hand decorated. Each is a work of art. While ensuring consistency, they are never identical. Slight variations of decor and color tones from one to another are not only normal, but to be expected as a sign of their uniqueness.

Chase Gamblin is an artist primarily working in ceramics. Currently, he is an Academic Specialist and Studio Coordinator for the Ceramics Department at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Gamblin received his BFA in Ceramics at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, TN in 2007. He then studied and received his MFA in Ceramics at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
