About the Item

Rare English majolica service with bright green glaze, made by the Copeland & Garrett (Stoke-on-Trent) manufactory, active between 1833 and 1847. The service consists of: 10 round plates (diameter 23.5 cm), decorated in relief with leaf motifs; 2 oval bowls with one handle (length 26 cm); 1 large centerpiece/course bowl with two handles (length 30 cm). Also added, without considering them in the main count: an additional centerpiece with two handles, one of which has been restored; a spun plate. All pieces bear the Copeland & Garrett mark stamped on the back, with model number. Condition: 10 plates, 2 bowls and 1 centerpiece in good condition with normal signs of use.
