About
A stunning Art Deco Czech malachite green glass lidded box by Curt Schlevogt dating from circa 1930. The rectangular shaped box has panel cut sides with a hinged cover moulded in deep relief with a squirrel perched on a branch and gathering nuts and being disturbed by a large stag beetle. The detail is superb and cover opens to reveal a wood lined interior probably for cigars with a grey velvet baize inset to the base.
In excellent original condition.
