About the Item

Fabulous large Legras polychrome enamel and acid cut back vase featuring flowering bluebells in a round pale blue cartouche resembling a pond, with raised gilded signature - Legras- to the side see image 3. The vase is a classic shape with a wide belly closing towards the top with a flared mouth, enamelled in gold and dark blue. Legras named this range after the famous French enameller Goupy Legras at this time were the most important and successful of the Paris based glass makers.
