Murano Glass Large Apothecary Jar
About the Item
A very large mid century Murano glass lidded apothecary or candy jar attributed to Barovier and Toso. Beautiful pale tangerine orange color with ribbed form and ruffled edge around the lid and pedestal base. Hand-blown using "pulegoso" technique creating random bubbles. Small, barely noticeable rough patch at the rim of the jar. Unusual monumental scale, perfect for use as a floor vase or hurricane.
