Rene Lalique Opalescent Roscoff Coupe Ouverte Large opalescent shallow bowl with repeating fish design amongst bubbles Applied silver rim hallmarked with the Spanish mark of Mostany LLopart 925 Engraved to the centre R Lalique France Introduced in 1932 Marcilhac page ref 306 Model no 10-283 The condition is very good, with no damage. There are a few expected light surface scratches nothing detrimental or unsightly. The rim had been attached with plaster of Paris, this can been seen when the bowl is turned upside down. The silver rim has been purely added close to the time of manufacture to embellish the dish and is not covering damage as could be suggested.
