About the Item

An exquisite Murano Venetian revival art glass blue wine glass believed to date from circa 1900. The tall and elegant glass stands on a wide rounded moulded foot slightly domed and with a folded rim in a bright turquoise blue color. The vase has an ornate hollow blown stem with a large rounded knop supporting a further smaller knop with a frilled application around the rim. The stem has a pink tint and has gold aventrine inclusions. The large bell shaped top has a moulded wrythen twist and matches the foot in bright turquoise blue color. The glass has a snapped off Ponti mark to the inside of the bowl and to the base and is not marked. Offered in excellent condition.
