This is a very good example of an English George III period, porcelain, coffee can, made by Spode, England in the early 19th century, circa 1810.
The can is nominally straight sided and has the Spode loop handle with a pronounced kick or kink to the lower part, with a lower attachment that curves out slightly from the cup. Spode is the only factory with a handle of this exact shape.
The can is decorated with one of their grey "bat printed" designs, showing game birds collected after the shoot. It also has hand painted gilded detail to both rims and the handle.

This is a good quality porcelain coffee can that we attribute to Spode of Staffordshire, England, made during the very early 19th century, George 111rd period, circa 1810.
The coffee can is nominally parallel, with a loop handle having one lower kink, characteristic of the Spode handle. It has a fairly deep foot recess with obtuse corners and is unmarked to the base.
The pattern is one of Spode's transfer printed floral leaf designs in a burnt orange colour around the upper border, all between gold gilt rings with a further gold gilt ring just above the base and hand gilding to the outer handle.

These are a fine early set of six ironstone pottery dinner plates made by the Mason's factory at Lane Delph, Staffordshire, England and beautifully decorated in the small vase, flowers and rocks pattern, fully stamped and dating to the earliest period of Mason's Ironstone production, circa 1818.
This design is one of Mason's very decorative Chinoiserie patterns called "Small Vase, Flowers and Rocks" pattern, which is one of Mason's rarer patterns with very rich hand gilding and all hand painted, the detail of each plate being different. This is a very rare and stunning little orphaned coffeecup made by Derby in about 1790. The cup has a white ground, simple gilt rims and a stunning named mountain landscape painted by Zachariah Boreman.
The Derby factory, later reshaped into Royal Crown Derby, is currently the oldest British porcelain factory still in production. Derby was one of the most prominent potteries right from the start of English porcelain production in the mid 1700s to today. Their items are of exceptionally high quality and many of the designs have become iconic, particularly the Imari designs; many of these are still being made today. Derby made many exciting designs in the Regency era, and this cup, which would have belonged to a large tea service, is a beautiful example. The marking at the underside indicates that the cup was produced some time between 1782 and 1800, however the style is from the mid-1790s.
Zachariah Boreman was one of the most celebrated painters at Derby. He arrived at Derby around 1774 after working at Chelsea, and remained until 1794, when he left in frustration with Michale Kean, the owner. Even though Boreman became one of the prime landscape painters at Derby, Kean would not pay him more and this caused Boreman to go back to London and work for the Simms decorating studio. Georgian Davenport Ironstone Very Large Plate in Stork Pattern No 24, Circa 1815

This is a finely hand painted large and rare early Stone China (Ironstone) plate / stand or platter which dates to the George 111 period, circa 1815. Made by the DAVENPORT factory of Longport, Staffordshire Potteries, England.
The plate is very well potted with a slightly raised central circular section.
This plate is beautifully hand painted in a pattern called "Stork", which is pattern number 24 and one of Davenport's very few Chinoiserie patterns.
This bold pattern features polychrome enamels with a stork, chrysanthemum and peony in an oriental garden. There are under-glaze blue transfers in under-glaze cobalt blue, with orange, pink, and brown over-glaze enamels. The pattern is embellished with excellent hand gilding.
This pattern is a match to the Ralph & James Clews pattern called " Crane in Chinese Garden". A photo of the Clews plate in this pattern is on page 142 of Griselda Lewis' "A Collector's History of English Pottery".

An early 19th century Staffordshire transferware cup plate with a source print from Benjamin Franklin's "Poor Richard’s Way to Wealth.” The motto reads, “Diligence is the Mother of Good Luck. Now I have a sheep and a cow everybody bids me a good morrow.”
The scene shows a man with his arm on a cow, conversing with a man on his horse tipping his hat in greeting. Sheep lie in the foreground, a house stands in the distance.
