19th Century Majolica Palissy Fishs Heads Oyster Plate

About the Item

A very rare Palissy oyster plate or platter who represents twelve fish heads shells, circa 1880. Attribution to the School of Paris, a French group of ceramists inspired by Bernard Palissy at the end of 19th century. Reference / Page 229 "Majolica" of M. Karmason, another example of Palissy oyster plate with fishs heads.
