Adams & Bromley English Majolica Overlapping Leaf on Basketweave Cheese Tray
About the Item
An English majolica glazed leaf and basketweave cheese tray, attributed to Adams & Bromley, circa 1880.
A pattern beautifully glazed with a strong graphic presence, six leaves alternately colored in shades of green, have stems that meet in the center at a yellow ochre raised circle. The leaves sit on a brown basketweave ground with a yellow rim.
