Circular Tray Signed Tuthill
About the Item
This exceptional American Brilliant cut glass tray was crafted by the renowned maker Tuthill in that company’s beloved Vintage pattern. Adorned with this charming motif’s elegant design of cut hobstars with an intaglio grapevine motif, this dish exemplifies the Tuthill aesthetic.
Though first known for its geometric designs, Tuthill began to incorporate intaglio design featuring flowers and fruit into its patterns after 1900. These intaglio patterns have become very popular and have increased greatly in value.
