About the Item

A majolica green glazed leaf pattern server, England, circa 1880. A serrate edged leaf shaped platter with an open work twig form handle. Beautiful mold work showing smaller branching leaves following the oval form of a single large leaf. Deep incised veining is shown on the main large leaf. A deep green glazing pools into the recesses of the complex mold work. Measures: 10.25 in. L x 9 in. W x 1.25 in. H Maker unknown, stilt marks evident on the verso, a kiln effect. Multiple platters are available, in incredible condition.
