Large rustic dugout hand carved bowl circa 1900.
Hand made eastern european bowl. These types of bowls were often used to feed livestock. Made from a solid tree trunk section and hollowed out using an adzed technique.
This bowl is presented in a lacquered finish, making it ideal for a table display or retail purposes.
Minor traces of dead inactive worm which has been treated. Expected surface marks from age and use.
